You know how much i hate internship after i experienced the first day. I should have blogged yesterday because I probably would have shown more enthusiasm in the blogging process as it is after all my first day at work and I have not experience the shit on second day.
Lets talk about the physical impression. Well, i had my own desk and the entire office is seriously an OFFICE. The company is small and organised. Everyone looks really serious. Nobody joke. Nobody slouch. Nobody even yawn! I'm the first to yawn in my company. Can be prepared to be offered a sack letter from my boss soon. lol.
I met a good guy in the company called Reynold Yap. I think he's probably the best colleague i've seen there. He was from HTM as a formal intern. He is those joker sort of person and he taught me stuff really patiently. No doubt he is around my age thats why we could communicate better.
Those older colleagues were abit more serious in their work and they couldn't care more about interns cause it's not really part of their job to take care of me.
Me: Er excuse me geradine are you busy? Wanna ask you something
G: Very busy la. (continues typing stuff on the comp)
I have a supervisor called Angela. She's really strict and she expects a lot from me. Because I'm from the Sales Team. You can't slow down your pace. You have to learn quick, and adapt to your environment to achieve SALES.
I had homework. She wants me to understand what is in our cruise and what is chargeable in our cruise. She's like Miss Mark. She taught me the verbiage Miss Mark always emphasize. Overall, SSM came to good use finally.
Sigh, my lunch time? I bought old chang kee and sat at the side of the road to eat with the rest of the random office doods from i dont know where. I think thats the smoking area but i don't know where can i head to also. SO SAD RIGHT. I read tweets to make myself look less loserish. To be honest, lunch kakis are seriously a need for pitiful people like me.
Overall, my whole day is spent getting to know my cruise knowledge well.
